LOWER MANHATTAN (WABC) -- With just a few weeks until he takes the reigns, Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani is continuing to build out his team.
Mamdani would not say which specific appointments were discussed on Friday, but it has been almost a month since he has announced an appointment to his administration.
He says that is partly why the elected advisory committee met at District Council 37 headquarters in Lower Manhattan.
Among those on the committee and in the room on Friday were State Attorney General Letitia James and City Comptroller Brad Lander - all elected officials who endorsed or supported Mamdani.
Afterwards, Mamdani spoke briefly with reporters and touted his effort to listen to different points of view as he builds his administration.
