COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office has tapped the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office to review cases involving Delaware County Judge James Schuck and the assistant prosecutor he is accused of having an “improper relationship” with.
Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell said his office received 30 cases to review.
He said they will be looking for any unusual activity to determine if cases should be reopened. He expects the process to continue into at least January.
Schuck took a voluntary leave of absence earlier this month after Prosecutor Melissa Schiffel said she received an anonymous letter informing her of an alleged “improper relationship” between a judge and assistant prosecutor.
