A tragic accident in Emmerdale last week left Kim Tate ( Claire King ) lying grievously injured in the woods, wondering whether anyone would come by and rescue her or whether she would die alone.

The accident came about because Sam Dingle ( James Hooton ) lost his job due to a dispute with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous). Wanting to raise some cash, Sam planned a dodgy shoot on Kim’s land.

To keep Kim in the dark about this, Lydia (Karen Blick) agreed to distract her at the Christmas Fayre. Lydia wasn’t in a great mood with Kim following Joe’s treatment of Sam and after Kim made a stingy donation to the Christmas Fayre raffle, so she agreed to help Sam.
