The Prime Minister has spoken after King Charles III shared an update regarding his cancer treatment. The King revealed in February 2024 that he had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer and has been undergoing treatment, stepping away from Royal duties for a period of time.

King Charles III has now shared an update as he recorded a video message which highlighted the importance of cancer screening programmes. He also spoke about his own recovery after being diagnosed with cancer last year. The video message was part of a Stand Up To Cancer campaign.
