A woman in northern India died after an unlicensed practitioner allegedly attempted to perform kidney stone surgery while watching a YouTube tutorial, police said

A woman in northern India has died after a bogus doctor attempted to carry out kidney stone surgery whilst following a YouTube tutorial, police have confirmed.

The shocking incident occurred on December 5, in the Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. The unlicensed practitioner allegedly operated whilst drunk and inflicted fatal injuries, leading to the woman's death.

Officials reported that the victim, Munishra Rawat, was taken to an unauthorised clinic on December 5 after experiencing severe stomach pain. Her husband, Fateh Bahadur, brought her to Shri Damodar Aushadhalaya, a facility operated by Gyan Prakash Mishra and Viv
