An Edinburgh father was told he 'wouldn't have seen Christmas' if a seizure hadn't led to a heartbreaking diagnosis, according to doctors . Jerry Kerrisk, 66, collapsed in June last year while visiting his twin sons, Brendan and Conor.
He was immediately taken to hospital where medics discovered a glioblastoma - an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer . The family were informed that Jerry's prognosis was between 12 to 18 months.
Now, the Kerrisk family are championing the Brain Tumour Research Christmas appeal, urging the public to contribute towards groundbreaking research and 'change the story' for patients.
