MAKANDA, Ill. (KFVS) - The final weekend for Christmas with the Alpacas is set for Saturday and Sunday, December 13-14.
Rolling Oak Alpaca Ranch will be open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.
There will be free pictures with Santa on Saturday until 2 p.m. and a visit from the Grinch on Sunday.
There will be several family-friendly activities, including an alpaca ornament craft, rope making with Heartland Ropemakers Guild and cookie decorating with Teresa’s Sweet Treats of So. IL.
The majority of activities will take place indoors due to the cold temperatures.
Refreshments will be available from Crown Brew Coffee Co. and Melissa’s Place.
Attendance and parking are free.
Visitors will be able to walk in the pasture with the alpacas. Pets are not allowed at the event.
