4$800M Adventure Crossings project faces foreclosure as Jackson’s mega-development dreams unravel

Jackson Township, NJ – A project once hailed as “The Future of Jackson” by former Mayor Michael Reina is facing foreclosure, according to a report from Lakewood’s FAA News this week . It was supposed to be a regional tourism destination.

Years after the project began it’s huge abandoned warehouse, a 7-Eleven gas station, and a few chain fast food restaurants. The only entertainment draw is the Adventure Sports and Entertainment sports complex, which draws in crowds for baseball and softball travel tournaments.

There are no hotels, no convention center, no winter ice skating, no bowling, and no MS research center as originally promised by the developer.
