TRENTON, Fla. (WCJB) - Trenton residents got into the holiday spirit on Friday.
Dozens of families visited the Trenton train depot for the old-fashioned Christmas celebration.
Business owners provided the cheer, giving out free food, drinks, and treats.
Vendors also sold presents and stocking stuffers so residents can buy local for the Christmas season.
Visitors say it’s important to have events like these in small cities to help foster community.
“It’s important to me because I think this is where you get to meet your neighbors and you get to support all the people in the local community,” said Kevin Layne, Trenton resident.
Residents donated more than 85 bicycles to be given out at the event on Friday.
Visitors could sign up for a free raffle to win one.
