There was big college football drama last week, with James Madison securing a playoff spot thanks to a series of championship game results. But the drama is far from over as we enter bowl season, meaning plenty more action and, of course, the playoffs.

Dec. 13. kicks off the bowl season action, with the Boise State Broncos vs. Washington Huskies in the LA Bowl from SoFi Stadium.

Boise State are the Mountain West champions, having defeated UNLV in the Championship Game. It’s the Broncos’ third straight conference win — they’re also on a three-game streak entering this bowl game — but they’ll still face a tough challenge against the Power Four team of Washington, who have eight wins overall this season. Boise State haven’t toppled a Power Four team since 2019.
