The Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning for severe rainfall affecting seven parts of Wales on Monday. It comes after the forecaster issued a similar alert for parts of mid and north Wales.

The Met Office said that there is a chance that 70mm of rain could fall in some places and warns that the likelihood of disruption, through flooding and transport issues, is likely due to the recent wet weather . The forecast states that a band of rain may become slow-moving and remain over parts of south and southwest Wales on Monday.

The 24-hour warning comes into force at 12.01am on Monday and covers seven areas: Bridgend , Carmarthenshire , Neath Port Talbot , Pembrokeshire , Powy
