In a significant political development aimed at breaking the prolonged deadlock and paving the way for the formation of a popular government in Manipur, BJP MLAs from the state have begun leaving for New Delhi following summons from the BJP High Command.
The move is being widely interpreted as a decisive intervention by the party’s central leadership to restore an elected government in Manipur, which has been under President’s Rule since 13 February 2025 after the resignation of former Chief Minister N.
