Craig Carton, in his first public comments since his third stint at WFAN was announced, said he is "respectful and sensitive" that others at the station have lost their jobs because of his return.

"It was too good an opportunity for me to say no to,” Carton said on Thursday on his self-titled podcast, one day after his Jan. 5 return to WFAN was announced by the station. “I am very respectful and sensitive to the fact that there are other people in that building that are losing their jobs, some as a direct result of my return, some for other reasons altogether.
