Aldi has issued a warning over a Christmas food item due to a health risk. Shoppers who have bought the product are being urged not to eat it but to return it back to the store .
The supermarket is recalling Perfect Christmas Mozzarella Sticks in Blankets because it contains egg which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.
The item affected is in a pack size of 278g and has a Use By date of December 15. People will be offered a refund after the packs are returned. Recently, Aldi also recalled a festive chocolate snack over a peanut allergy health risk, as reported by ChronicleLive .
