In May 2026, Morristown Utilities will celebrate 20 years of providing Telecom services to the Morristown community, a milestone made possible through the leadership and vision of George Benjamin, FiberNET’s founding Telecom Operations Manager.

On January 1, 2026, Benjamin will officially retire from Morristown Utilities, leaving FiberNET firmly established and well-positioned for the future.

At the November Board meeting, Benjamin was recognized for more than two decades of dedicated service. The Board of Commissioners passed a formal resolution honoring his retirement, and a commemorative plaque was presented in appreciation of his contributions.

As the resolution was read and unanimously approved, Board Chairman Rod Isaacs commended Benjamin’s leadership.
