JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Raines Vikings are state champs for the fourth time!

On Friday, in a rematch of last year's FHSAA 3A Championship football game, the Raines Vikings topped the Miami Northwestern Bulls 23-22.

Both teams entered the night undefeated on the season (13-0), and averaging over 40 points per game.

On the opening drive, the Bulls made it to the redzone. On 3rd and goal from the 6-yard line, Raines defensive end Cameron Washington sacked Bulls quarterback Neimann Lawrence.

Miami Northwestern ended up settling for a field goal, going up 3-0.

In the second quarter, the Bulls coughed it up during a punt return, fumbling the ball as Raines recovered it at the 33-yard line on their side of the field.
