Customers ordering Christmas presents from Debenhams and Boohoo are furious after their gifts have reportedly gone missing.

Many used the recent Black Friday sales to order gifts for Christmas , taking advantage of the sales and deals on offer, but some shoppers have taken to social media to allege their presents are yet to arrive.

Despite ordering them weeks ago amid the sales, their lack of arrival is "ruining" the holiday season, The Daily Express reports .

This year, Black Friday fell on November 28 in the UK, though sales often start earlier in the month.

The traditionally American day always falls on the day after Thanksgiving, or the fourth Friday of November.
