PALMDALE – A man stabbed his mother’s boyfriend, who was allegedly abusing the woman in a Palmdale park, but his arrest was not for the stabbing, authorities said Saturday.
The situation occurred at about 5:10 p.m. Friday at Pelona Vista Park in the 37700 block of Tierra Subida, according to Lt. Andrew Stowers of the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station.
Arriving deputies found a man with stab wounds, Stowers said. They determined the man had committed an act of domestic violence against the woman and her adult son had stabbed him.
The bleeding man was taken by ambulance to a hospital where he was treated and arrested for suspicion of domestic violence, the lieutenant said.
