Following a road accident in Chakan, a private bus driver was allegedly murdered at Mankar Parking in Kalewadi area of Pimpri Chinchwad recently. The police have identified the deceased as Sachin Dhondiba Sonkamble (28), an original resident of Roha in Nanded district.

His brother Vitthal Sonkamble (38) lodged an FIR for murder at Wakad police station in Pimpri Chinchwad on Friday.

As per the press release issued on Saturday, deceased Sachin worked as a driver on a private bus of Lakshmi Holidays travel company. Police said the bus met with an accident at Chakan on November 28, 2025. After the mishap, Sachin went to Mankar Parking, where he was allegedly found in an injured condition on the afternoon of November 29.
