VICKSBURG, Miss. (WLBT) - UPDATE: The AMBER Alert has been canceled, according to the Vicksburg Police Department. Paris Thomas was confirmed to be found safe Saturday morning. No other information has been provided.

PREVIOUS:

A Vicksburg man is currently wanted for kidnapping a baby.

The suspect has been identified as 37-year-old Michael Thomas Jr.

The missing baby has been identified as 3-month-old Paris Thomas.

According to the issued AMBER Alert, Paris Thomas was last seen in the 2600 block of Roosevelt Avenue in Vicksburg, “wearing a diaper and blanket.”

Michael Thomas Jr. stands at 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs approximately 142 pounds. He was last seen on Dec. 10 at 1:38 p.m., on foot.
