Zoe Ball has revealed she will be stepping down from presenting her BBC Radio 2 programme as she announced her replacement. The 55-year-old made the announcement live during her show, confirming she will be leaving in the new year but would continue to host several special programmes for the station.
Speaking on Saturday's show, Zoe said: "I have loved being betwixt my dear friends Romesh (Ranganathan) and Rylan (Clark), and you know, I love you all to bits, but I'm not disappearing completely. Obviously, it'll be Christmas Crooners and I'm doing an eras show in the new year, more on that later."
