Abraham Isaac Quintanilla Jr. , Selena Quintanilla ‘s father, has died at the age of 86.

On Saturday morning (December 13), Abraham ‘s son, Abraham “A.B.” Isaac Quintanilla III , announced the news on social media.

“It’s with a heavy heart to let you guys know that my Dad passed away today,” A.B. , 62, wrote on Instagram .

He also shared an image of his father and set the post to Pedro Infante ‘s song “Cien Años.”

As of right now other details, including Abraham ‘s cause of death, have been made public.

Abraham was married to Marcella Quintanilla and together they share three kids – A.B. , Suzette , and Selena .

After playing his own band when he was younger, Abraham served as the manager for Selena and her band, Selena y Los Dinos , back in the 90s.
