Camryn Magness, a singer who toured with One Direction, was killed in an electric scooter crash in Miami Beach, Florida, officials said.

Miami Beach Police said Magness was a passenger on the scooter when it collided with a pedestrian shortly before 8 p.m. on Dec. 5.

Magness, the male who was driving the scooter, and the pedestrian, all suffered significant injuries and were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, police said.

The 26-year-old singer died from her injuries at the hospital.

Her passing was announced on her Facebook page on Tuesday .
