ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic is set to match all donations to the Salvation Army's red kettles across Olmsted County up to $50,000 on this Saturday and the next.
This initiative is part of the Mayo Clinic Red Kettle Match, and contributions can be made via cash, check, or tip tap at the kettles.
The Salvation Army is also launching "Target: 200," aiming to raise $200,000, including the Mayo Clinic match, on the designated match days. "We’ve seen such an increase in the need for our services, and we want to make sure that we have the means to provide for those needs," said Captain Michael Hanton of The Salvation Army in Rochester.
