SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Officials said the number of cases in the Upstate measles outbreak continues to rise after releasing the latest totals on Friday.
New measles cases
The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) said 15 new cases have been reported since Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases in the Upstate outbreak to 126 and the total number reported this year to 129.
According to the DPH, 13 of the new cases are from known household exposures, one was from a neighborhood contact and another was from an unknown source still being investigated.
