Morning fog and low clouds are as damp as forecasters expect Saturday to get — but don’t get used to it.

The National Weather Service says Saturday’s sunshine in Portland won’t last long as Sunday sees a 50% chance of rain.

And it only gets rainier from there, with showers all the likelier into the workweek.

Day and night, it’s rain, rain, rain, rain, rain up and down the forecast Monday through Friday.

So put on your favorite playlist, brew your hot beverage of choice, and launch into a new book — or, perhaps, the latest edition of Oregon’s paper of record, celebrating its 175th birthday — and make the most of the bleak clouds.
