A pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle in Washington on Friday.

State police said that the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Route 202 and struck a pedestrian.

Police reveal the deceased pedestrian is 36-year-old Darwin Arce from Danbury.

The driver of the vehicle did not report any injuries after the collision.

The accident is still under investigation.
