DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Four people are behind bars after a large police operation Friday morning in Duluth’s Piedmont Neighborhood.
According to Duluth Police, officers executed a search warrant around 9:30 a.m. at a home near Piedmont Avenue and 26th Street West.
One witness told Northern News Now they saw at least eight squad cars and a large investigation vehicle.
Four people were detained on outstanding warrants.
According to DPD, the arrests stemmed from ongoing complaints of criminal activity in the area.
However, Duluth Police would not provide information on what kind of criminal activity or why exactly the warrants were issued.
