Christmas Day is nearly here which means one of the NFL's more recent traditions takes center stage once again.

Alongside the Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders and Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs matchups, two classic NFC North teams face off as the Minnesota Vikings host the Detroit Lions . The game, which is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET on Christmas , will be the second and final game of the season between the two sides.

While the season hasn't gone the way the Vikings would've hoped, as they'll likely miss the playoffs, they do have bragging rights over Detroit following an upset victory in Detroit last month. After winning the division last year, the Lions continue to be in the playoff conversation this year as they look to inch closer to the postseason.
