Jammu, Dec 13:The Directorate of School Education Jammu has issued Order No. 458‑DSEJ of 2025, announcing winter vacations, for Government as well as the Private Schools up to Higher Secondary level in the areas falling under the summer zone of Jammu Division, the vacations will begin on Dec 22 for classes up to 5th, Dec 26 for classes 6th to 8th, and Dec 29 for classes 9th to 12th, ending uniformly on Jan 10, 2026.

Teaching staff are required to remain available for academic duties during the vacation period and must report back on Jan 10. The order warns that any violation of the schedule by Heads of Institutions or faculty will invite strict disciplinary action.
