A Strictly Come Dancing professional was left in tears over an emotional reveal, just hours before the semi-final.

The 23rd season of the long-running BBC series is nearing its end as the competition has been whittled down to just four celebrities, who will be hoping to impress the judges with two new routines tonight (Saturday, December 13).

But before he takes to the iconic dancefloor with his celebrity partner Balvinder Sopal , new pro Julian Caillon received a very special surprise.

The dancer took to Instagram earlier today to post a video of his mum arriving in Elstree after flying from Australia to watch him perform in the ballroom. In the clip, Julian quickly burst into tears as he rushed to embrace his mum.
