Pittsburgh Steelers fans are waiting with bated breath to find out how much time star linebacker T.J. Watt will miss following the punctured lung he suffered during the week at the team facility.

The details of what happened are still unclear, though thanks to Watt’s brother, former All-Pro defensive end J.J. Watt, everyone knows the how and when.

“Yesterday TJ had successful surgery to stabilize and repair a partially collapsed lung suffered Wednesday after a dry needling treatment session at the facility,” JJ wrote on X on Friday. “Recovery timeline is still TBD, but all went well and he is being released from the hospital today.”
