With Clear Falls clinging to a thin 74-73 lead and 9 seconds left on the clock, senior Kyndall King stepped to the free throw line and nailed one of two to give the Knights a 75-73 win over Ball High on Friday night.

The win puts Clear Falls at 11-6 heading into District 24-6A play next week. The Tors dropped to 10-4 in their last non-district game as well.

The two teams combined to make 23 3-point baskets. Ball High got the overall edge, hitting 13 in 23 attempts, but the Knights were virtually lights out in the second half.

“We play our best basketball from the 3-point line, that’s for sure,” Ball head coach Alaya Mitchell said.
