Snow showers will last through most of the evening before tapering off early Sunday morning, according to Pittsburgh's Action Weather meteorologist Jeff Verszyla.
Between 3 and 5 inches of snow is expected areawide, while the Laurel Highlands and isolated places south of Pittsburgh could see 5 to 8 inches by Sunday morning.
