A Chattanooga police officer used a special tracking device he deployed during a pursuit to eventually discover and arrest a 28-year-old man.
An officer saw a black sedan driving recklessly near the 6200 block of Shallowford Road on Wednesday, December 10, according to an arrest report obtained by Local 3 News.
The officer followed the car as it pulled into a gas station, then initiated a traffic stop with his cruiser's emergency lights.
Police say the suspect then sped up and fled from him "at a high rate of speed," circling the parking lot and turning back on Shallowford Road before getting on I-75 Southbound. Close
