N.C. State basketball coach Will Wade told reporters on Dec. 12 that he doesn’t view the matchup against No. 19 Kansas as a “must-win” scenario, but it’s “certainly an important game” for the Wolfpack.

N.C. State (7-3) hosts the 19th-ranked Jayhawks (7-3) on Saturday, Dec. 13 (5:30 p.m., ESPN) at Lenovo Center in Raleigh, trying to snap a three-game losing streak against Power 5 opponents to start the Wade era.

The Pack allowed an average of 90 points on 54.3% shooting, losing the rebounding margin by an average of 7.7 boards per game in defeats against Seton Hall, Texas and Auburn.
