MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) -A Lincoln County man died Friday after being in a car accident in Montgomery County.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop F responded to Route E at Route DD at approximately 10:45 a.m.

The crash report indicates a 2015 Chevrolet 1500 was heading westbound and drove into the path of a 1998 Western Star Conventional that was heading northbound. The Western Star hit the Chevrolet on the driver’s side.

The 76-year-old driver of the Chevrolet died at the scene. He was from Elsberry.

The other driver had minor injuries.
