LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - For the second time in program history, the Kentucky Volleyball team advances to the Final Four, after a big 3-0 win over Creighton in the Elite Eight.
Brooklyn Deleye led the way with 18 kills, 123 digs and three blocks. Eva Hudson had 13 kills, 15 digs and an ace. Asia Thigpin finished with 8 kills on a .429 hitting percentage. Molly Tuozzo led the team with 17 digs.
Kentucky has now won 26 straight matches.
Set wins: 25-19, 25-13, 25-18
The first set was dead even for the first 28 points scored. Neither team could gain more than a two point advantage until Kentucky went on the first run of the game, forcing Creighton to take a timeout when the Cats took a 18-14 lead. UK would go on to close out the set 25-19 and held the Blue Jays to a .091 hitting percentage
