The New York Yankees swung a huge trade for Cody Bellinger last offseason, and it paid off in a huge way.
Bellinger was one of the best players on the Yankees this season, but he opted out of his contract and entered free agency again this offseason. It's likely going to cost a lot of money to land Bellinger, but teams like the New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays, and the incumbent Yankees are expected to be in the mix.
Erik Beaston of Bleacher Report predicted on Saturday that Bellinger would sign a new deal with the Yankees in free agency.
