University of Michigan regent Jordan Acker said transparency is imperative regarding the circumstances surrounding the firing of disgraced former head football coach Sherrone Moore, which is why the school has hired an outside firm to investigate.
The Detroit News on Thursday reported that the Michigan Board of Regents has authorized the law firm Jenner & Block to expand its investigation into the firing of Moore and look into the athletic department. The Chicago-based law firm was previously hired to investigate the allegations against the head football coach weeks ago, when the board first heard the rumors.
