JAMESTOWN, N.D. — Minnesota Duluth women’s basketball drilled 12 3-pointers and made more than half of its field-goal attempts in routing Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference newcomer Jamestown 82-36 on Saturday.

UMD opened the game on runs of 7-0 and 15-3, and the game was never in single digits again.

Post player Lexi Karge was the Bulldogs’ leading scorer, putting up 16 points and four rebounds, though her service was only needed for 17 minutes.

Fourteen Bulldogs played for at least seven minutes, and 12 of them scored. Maria Counts finished with 11 points and Myra Moorjani 10.

UMD was 32-for-60 (53.3%) from the floor and 12-for-27 (44.4%) from 3-point range.

The Bulldogs (7-2, 5-0 NSIC) return home for a Thursday game against Minot State.
