HONOLULU (Island News) -- Honolulu police are investigating after gunshots were reported in the Kalihi Valley Homes area just after 11:00 p.m. on December 12.

Several unoccupied cars were found with bullet holes, but no one was injured.

Authorities are also looking into whether the shooting is connected to a recent homicide in Halawa Housing. The investigation is ongoing.
