KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla. (WCJB) - Residents in Keystone Heights laced up their sneakers on Saturday to honor the life of a special member of their community.

2013 Keystone Heights High graduate Dakota Thacker was tragically killed in an ATV crash earlier this year.

More than 130 runners showed up for the inaugural 5k Reindeer Trot.

All proceeds will support scholarships for the Keystone Heights High School volleyball team, which Dakota was a part of during her high school years.
