DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Davenport man is facing felony charges after police say he stole over $35,000 in construction equipment and tools in September.
James Schomburg Jr., 38, is charged with:
Conspiracy to commit non-forcible felony
Burglary
Theft
Police said Schomburg and two other people went into River City Cutting/River City Metal Works, in the 1700 block of Rockingham Road, according to court documents.
Schomburg can be seen on video taking tools and construction equipment, worth $35,254.06, police said. He can also be seen leaving the business with several items.
Police said a photo of Schomburg inside the business was posted on Facebook and several people identified him, based on the clothes he wore and his physical characteristics.
