This is the heart-warming moment 'Britain's best postie' saves the day as well as making the fortunate homeowner laugh out loud. Reece Holmes, 35, was walking home from his local petrol station when his postman, Jamie Peter Sinclair, 38, rang the Ring doorbell to drop off a parcel.

Reece, from Stocksbridge, near Barnsley, South Yorkshire, picked up on his phone saying "y'alright pal?" only for Jamie - who was wearing a Santa hat - to tell him he had left his keys in the door. The dad-of-two was over the moon when Jamie told him.

He then asked Reece if he could drop off the parcel inside his house to which he said agreed - but as it did Jamie said "I got me Grinch thong on an'all" causing Reece to laugh out loud. Jamie also joked to Reece if he could nip in
