I FINALLY LEFT MY UNFAITHFUL HUSBAND EARLIER THIS YEAR, BUT MY TEENAGE SON IS VERY ANGRY ABOUT IT AND BLAMES ME

I split from my husband earlier this year when I found out he’d been having an affair with one of our friends. It was a relief in a way because it gave me the push I needed to finally kick him out. We’d been drifting apart for some time.

He’s been a heavy drinker for as long as I have known him but recently, he’d started to get really aggressive after a couple of drinks. He never actually hit me, but he came close a few times, close enough to make me afraid. My 18-year-old daughter is coping well with the split but my son, who is 15, is not, and blames me for the break-up.
