SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - We hit a pleasant 81° on Saturday. But another cold front will push through the Suncoast late Sunday, bringing northerly winds and significantly cooler air to the Suncoast. Monday will see highs in the 60s to near 70°, and overnight lows will dip into the 40s and low 50s on Tuesday morning. Then temperatures rebound sharply once again, with highs returning to near 80° by Thursday.
December average temps are warm so far. Temperatures are 3° above average. That average could climb with our next warmup by the end of the week and the week before Christmas. December is above average in rain for now, all due to the big storms (1.71” of rain at SRQ) one week ago.
