PROVIDENCE, R.I. —

The search for a shooter who opened fire in a classroom killing two students and injuring nine others during final exams at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, continued Sunday morning.

Six victims were in critical but stable condition Saturday night, one victim was in critical condition and another victim was in stable condition at Rhode Island Hospital. Another person suffered non-life-threatening injuries related to the shooting.

The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. at the Barus & Holley building, which houses the School of Engineering and the Physics Department.

Brown University President Christina Paxson said all of the shooting victims are students; however, their names were not released.
