PROVIDENCE, R.I. —

Brown University students are being reunited with family members after a fatal shooting on the Providence, Rhode Island, campus.

One man went to the center desperate for information about his younger sister, who was not injured in the shooting.

"It's a relief that my sister made it home safe. I was worried," he said. "Her phone was off and she wasn't answering any texts, any calls. They weren't going through. My mom informed me that her phone died, but she made it home as fast as she could."

His sister was about to study in the library when the shooting began.

"I have no words. It was very worrisome. It was scary. You feel like it couldn't happen to you -- just the ignorance that you feel like it couldn't happen to you, but it just does," he said. "I find it really
