A man who survived the October 7 attacks in 2023 was injured during the Bondi Beach shooting, recounting how he saw “blood gushing” from him after being hit, as reported by the news website AU.

The shooting took place during a Chanukkah celebration, which police sources believe was the target of the attack and had been planned for months. One gunman was shot dead at the scene, while another was shot and taken into custody as emergency services continued treatment.

Authorities have confirmed that ten people were killed in the attack, including children and a police officer.

Police and emergency responders are continuing to scour the area for potential explosives after receiving an unconfirmed report that a live bomb may have been placed under a pedestrian bridge.
